We celebrated Landon's birthday last month with cake & ice cream at our house. We can just barely hear a train from our house & somehow Landon always notices it & starts saying "Choo Choo!", so we had a colorful train on his birthday cake this year. He loved playing with the balloons & knew exactly what to do when it came to opening gifts. He had a huge smile on his face while everyone sang Happy Birthday & even blew his own candle out with a little help from daddy. We thoroughly enjoyed the party & feel blessed to have such great family & friends to share the excitement of such an important day!
We're still amazed every day at how fast he's growing up. He's using utensils more & communicating really well. He counts to 10 & we're working on colors. He's a big helper too. If we start cleaning up the house, he'll drag the broom out to sweep. He gets a big kick out of scooping Casey's food from the bin & pouring it into her bowl & gets excited when it's time to unload the dishwasher. He still gets into anything he can....when he's quiet I know I should be concerned! Just before his birthday he decided to unroll a brand new roll of toilet paper & put the entire thing in the downstairs toilet bowl. Luckily we realized he was being really quiet & found him before he tried to flush it. That was a lot of fun for daddy to clean up! He also has his share of two year old meltdowns, but thankfully those don't happen that often. At his 2 year Dr appt he weighed 31.5 lbs & was 35 & 1/4 inches tall.
