We officially have a 'toddler'

For the past couple of weeks Landon has been walking more & more around the house. He's gone from just taking a few steps to toddling from one room to another. Right now he probably still crawls about 65-70% the time, but he seems to be testing it out more every day.

Over Thanksgiving we got together with my mom's side of the family. My cousins each have a little boy so it was fun to have the three of them together. Tyson is about 19 months, so he & Landon played together & had full length conversations in toddler lingo. Caleb is only about 5 months, but he held his own sitting with the bigger boys for pictures.

Landon weighed 28 lbs 4 oz & was 33 inches long at his 15 month Dr appointment this week. He's still in the 90th percentile for weight & 95th for height. Unfortunately he seems to be on to the whole Dr's office thing. He didn't want to be put down on the table in the exam room at all. He's normally calm & happy at the Dr's office, but this time he did a lot of screaming. Can't say I blame him when he gets poked with needles at every visit!

He's going through a fun imitation stage right now. He tries to act out different things we do & repeat words we say. His latest words are 'yes' & 'thank you'. With his new mobility, the last thing he wants to do is lay down, so diaper changes can sometimes feel like a timed event.
