13 Months

Lately every picture I take of Landon surprises me because he looks more like a little boy than a baby. I try to cherish every snuggle & memorize the funny things he does every day because the time is going by so quickly! He's doing great with regular milk & has been completely off bottles for about two weeks. Mommy's having a hard time with all this growing up!

He's started standing on his own for a few seconds here & there & even took a step or two from Darren to me on Friday, but I think it was more momentum with lucky feet placement than actual walking. :) He loves to walk behind anything that will slide on the floor, toys, kitchen chairs, laundry baskets, etc. It makes folding laundry quite a challenge when I have to chase the basket around. He's also discovered he can reach the knobs of our bathtub while standing beside it. I often get dressed to the sound of the water being turned on & off repeatedly. Of course when he gets tired of playing, he just leaves it running. He's recently started brushing his hair which is really cute. That's part of our after-bath routine at night & now if we give him the brush he'll rub it against his head with a look of concentration. He's constant entertainment for us & the light of our lives.
