Landon is keeping us very busy these days. He still army crawls, rather than being up on all fours, but gets around at a surprisingly high rate of speed. The whole family, including our poor dog is getting quite a work out trying to keep up with him (or escape him in the dog's case). He's gotten much better with finger foods in the past month. He manages to get most of the food in his mouth now & thankfully we haven't had any more choking incidents. He had a top tooth come in to make three total teeth now. He's picked up several cute tricks this month too. He gives us kisses. They're open-mouth slobber ones, but it's still so sweet. He'll give a baby high-five & he gets really excited & claps when we say "yay!" He started saying "uh-oh" just yesterday & has been saying it repeatedly since then. He's very vocal & loves to hear himself yell. It's funny because he opens his mouth really wide when he yells too.
My mom was nice enough to come in town last weekend & do some babysitting for us. I met my friend Kaycee for relaxing massages & a little time at the pool on Saturday while Darren was at work. On Sunday we went to see the new Transformers movie. It's the first time Darren & I have been anywhere without Landon in several months, so we really enjoyed it. Landon was giving his Grammy slobber kisses before the weekend was over, so I think they had some good bonding time too.
